A love story featuring OUR Brides in OUR Dresses
Jennifer met her husband Nicholas on a random night at the bowling alley. He was already standing in line to pay.Jennifer and her friend walked up and when Nicholas turned around to see who came up, it took him a few seconds to stop staring and introduce himself but not without stuttering. They ended up talking and laughing all night. but didn’t end up dating until 7 months later.
Funny story… Jennifer was the one who originally proposed to Nicholas. He knew he wanted to marry Jennier as soon as they met, but even after they started dating, Jennifer still needed convincing because she never saw herself getting married. Nicholas is very persistent so he told Jennifer he would randomly ask her until Jennifer said yes, which Jennifer would laugh, roll her eyes, and shake her head at. Until one day, three months after they started dating, they went hiking in Yosemite. On their way back, they stopped somewhere to eat, they were laughing uncontrollably at something and in that moment, something clicked for Jennifer, she looked at him and asked him if he wanted to marry her. Nicholas was in complete shock and Jennifer told him she didn’t want or need a ring, so they got each other’s initial tattooed on their ring finger.
However, Nicholas ended up surprising Jennifer with an emerald cut diamond ring on their wedding day, right when we were about to say our vows!
Jennifer and Nicholas got married April 1st, 2017… exactly one year from when they had their first kiss and became something more than best friends.
Nicholas and Jennifer eloped with just immediate family and friends, on a cliffside off a beach in Sausalito, CA, right outside San Francisco, on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. A secret place they found while hiking a few months prior.
Jennifer’s favorite memory of her Wedding is when she was walking down the hill and Nicholas had his back turned towards the ocean so he couldn’t see her, they hadn’t seen or talked to each other all day and the night before, when Nicholas finally could turn around to see Jennifer. he immediately walked up to grab Jennifer and kiss her and she had to stop him and say “Not yet!”, all while everyone was laughing. His smile, his first reaction and response to seeing me is something Jennifer will never forget.
Jennifer bought her dress at a bridal boutique called Bianca’s Bridal Couture, in Modesto, CA.
What made Jennifer fall in love with her Calla Blanche Dress was that she had a vision of what she wanted her dress to look like in her head before Jennifer ever started looking or shopping. Jennifer ended up seeing a picture of her Calla Blanche Dress online and fell in love, she noticed it was available at Bianca’s Bridal Couture. When Jennifer went in for a fitting, it was the first dress she tried on and it fit like a glove. When Jennifer’s family started crying and everyone in the shop (including other brides) stopped to come over and look, Jennier knew it was something special. It was the perfect mixture of effortless beauty and vintage class. Not to mention, that all Jennifer needed tailored was the hem, the dress fit so perfectly, the one Jennifer tried on in the boutique is the one she purchased.
It was meant for Jennifer!
